Long Shot Charter Fishing

Fishing With Us

We have two boats to serve any party size! The Long Shot, accommodating parties of 6 or less, and the Big Shot accommodating parties of 7-44!

We specialize in custom offshore deep sea fishing, nearshore light-tackle trolling for our amazing customers ranging from our smallest anglers and novices to the most seasoned fishermen (and women!) We can customize any large party outing, group or company trip as well. We make the process easy and affordable.

Deep Sea Fishing Trips

Our Deep Sea Fishing Trips range from 6-12 hours and are for anglers of all expertise. Targeted Species vary during the seasons, but include Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Trigger Fish, and MANY MORE.

Light-Tackle Trolling

Our Light-Tackle Trolling trips target King and Spanish Mackerel, and occasionally we are super lucky and find Mahi-Mahi! These trips are great family trips as they are near-shore, have lots of action, and are kid-friendly!

Shark Fishing

Everyone wants to tackle a shark! Well, they want to catch one anyway! Aboard the Long Shot or Big Shot, that's no problem! We catch these most days bottom fishing, or you can book a trip solely targeting these big fighters!

Our Captains

Captain Alicia

Captain Alicia was pretty much born on the water in Panama City Beach, no really! Her mom had the galley on the S.W. Anderson since before Capt. Alicia was born and long into her childhood! She would spend her school breaks, summers, weekends, (and whenever she could get away with it,) on the S.W. Doing a little fishing herself, but she was baiting hooks, taking people's fish off, all at a young age. So her love with water and fishing began. Fast forward to 2007,  she's been decking on prominent boats in Panama City Beach, and she's got her sea-time for her license. She then ran two of the head-boats she grew up on, ran another boat or two for other owners but knew her destiny was to own her own. She bought the Libra's Love in 2011, a 32' Prowler and boy was she fast! In 2013, it was time to upgrade and the Long Shot, a 41' Infiniti Sport Fisher,  was now Captain Alicia's! Then in 2021 it was time to upgrade again and the Big Shot, a 55' Defender was added to the fleet. Capt. Alicia prides herself in ensuring that every customer on her back deck has a memorable experience, catches as many fish as possible and maybe has a bit of the love she has when they leave.

Captain Joe

Captain Joe came to us in 2011, home from the time he lived in Arkansas. He knew he wanted to fish for a living and Capt. Alicia brought him down to learn. He started on the back deck and did such a good job with the customers! We have customers that came time and time again just to spend time on the back deck with Joe! In 2021 after learning from Captain Alicia for 10 yeas, Joe became Captain Joe. He has been running the Long Shot full time since the Big Shot was added to the fleet in 2021. (Those customers STILL come back just to hang out with Captain Joe now!) He is knowledgeable, loves to talk fishing, and will make your vacation in Panama City Beach complete!
